Mike Reid - DRIVE Mornings
Email: reid@989thedrive.com
I'm born and raised in Montreal which makes all of the following true: I worship The Habs, je parle un peu le français, my driving is questionable, and I think "poutine" should be a food group.
Kingston has been my home for over 5 years and I think it is a fantastic place to live. Why? Location, location, location. It’s got history, a beautiful scenic waterfront in the 1000 Islands, great restaurants, cool shops, and awesome live music.
Highlights:
- Seven straight years emceeing Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
- Being a part of the crew for Natalie Lambert’s quest to be the youngest to swim across Lake Ontario
- Being a “champion” (and being on a bus shelter) for Kingston Gets Active
- Successfully bringing METRIC to Kingston with the help of our listeners and Facebook
Proud to have met:
- The Hip, Jayna Hefford, Don Cherry, Gene Simmons, Richard Branson, Alice in Chains, and METRIC
I am driven by the music and passionate about continually making it better. I love live music and bringing it into the studio. I am also determined to help discover the next Tragically Hip in Kingston. If that’s you, maybe you can be next on our “LIVE @ THE DRIVE” feature. < back < |
