This is pretty random, but cool, when Soundgarden played their big reunion show at Lollapalooza, and one of the photographers in the pit was baseball legend Randy Johnson! Seems strange, but the pictures are cool and the story is here too, check it out.
You have heard that Weezer’s upcoming album will be called “Hurley” and have a picture of Jorge Garcia who played Hurley on the wicked awesomest show Lost…well there is a song from said album available now. Check out the free download of “Memories” here…what do you think?

Fro the second Monday in a row, Broken Social Scene has teamed up with a guest DJ, this time it’s with djmomjeans. Yep, that says DJ Mom Jeans, it’s a funny name but maybe not such much a cool name, regardless djmomjeans – who is Danny Masterson formerly of That 70’s Show – has teamed up with BSS to remix “All to All”. Check it out here.
Who knew that people needed reminders on 401 driving? Apparently they do, so here’s one: the left lane is for passing. So when you’ve passed a car using the left/passing lane, GET BACK IN THE RIGHT LANE!! I was losing my mind on Sunday coming home from a fabulous wedding weekend, partying with friends and family, it was great, I was happy, relaxed, no road rage…yet…then I got on the 401 and get stuck behind idiots going slow in the passing lane, at least a half a dozen different occasions. It was quite busy on the 401 yesterday, so the passing lane was fairly busy, but when you get people not paying attention, sitting in the passing lane, slowing passing slower cars and not ever getting over I wanted to rip my hair out and throw it at them all.
And before you ask, I wasn’t tailgating, I wasn’t driving aggressively (as I have been sometimes known to do) and I wasn’t speeding…too much. One fabulous solution in Kanasa, they have made it illegal to linger in the left lane, although I’m sure that can’t be enforced too much as it’s illegal to talk on cell phones in Ontario and IT’S STILL HAPPENING. OHHH, I could vent and rant for hours about drivers not paying attention, have you any that reallllllllly bother you and you’d like to get them off your chest?
Or some serenity…a cute panda sneezing
39 of these interesting statues appeared in the Humber River near Toronto Monday morning, people were perplexed, how did they get there? That is a lot of work to do overnight, it must have been a group of people who planned this out…nope, one dude today has come forward and said it was his handiwork. Now I’m not saying that he didn’t do it, but I also am not saying that it might have been aliens. Alright I am saying that it could have been aliens. How can one dude do all that in a few hours without anyone noticing? So I ask once again, artist or alien? Dan Aykroyd, get your Paranormal show on this.

The Facebook movie called “The Social Network” (directed by David Fincher who’s done some cool movies includeing Fight Club) will be out in October.
Check out the trailer **warning there is swearing in it!
A new Pearl Jam song has surfaced. And by “new” we’re not really sure when it was recorded, it was rumored to be a B-side for Backspacer, or their self-titled album…now people are thinking Riot Act. There isn’t even a name for it! Regardless, it’s cool for PJ fans who know every single song they have ever released – and we get one awesome bonus song out of the blue.
That is a bold statement considering all the crap on the internet! But this is a serious, non-photo shopped, crazy picture…a sinkhole in the middle of the Guatemala City created after the Tropical Storm Agatha.
It looks soo creepy! It swallowed a three-story building! It is 66 feet across and plunges 100 feet!
It looks like it just keeps going, and going, and going.

Surprise surprise, it didn’t work, the latest efforts to stop the BP oil spill did not succeed and it will likely continue till August. “Spill” is an understatement, take a look at the video! Warning: it is disturbing to watch! (and it changes, sometimes it’s showing work being done to try and stop said leak)
