It is hard to believe that it has already been three years since a then 14 year old Natalie Lambert attempted to be the youngest to swim across Lake Ontario (the traditional crossing from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Toronto).  I was there when she came within kilometres of the CN Tower before huge waves and crazy winds made it impossible to complete.  Since then she has had some successes and two more disappointing attempts across Lake Ontario.  There has never been a doubt she can do it, it is just a matter of everything aligning at the same time…this Sunday July 18th she is hoping her dreams come true.  At 7am she will enter Lake Ontario and hope that three times is a charm.

Once again she will be doing it to raise awareness for the YMCA’s Y Knot Abilities Program.  I can tell you first hand she and her whole family are amazing individuals and I really hope Natalie can complete her goal this time.  She has got the heart, the determination, and hopefully the weather!
