Queen’s Athletes of the Week
Natalie Fisher of Burlington, Ont., led the Queen’s women’s volleyball team to their sixth win of the season this past weekend. In the Gaels only game of the week, the second year commerce major recorded a match-high 13 points off of nine kills and four solo stuff blocks as Queen’s swept their rivals, the Ottawa Gee-Gees, in three straight sets.
Bryan Fautley of Oakville, Ont., had his best weekend of the season as Queen’s split their games against Guelph and McMaster. In the Gaels five set win over the Gryphons, Fautley had 18 kills along with six digs before adding 18 more kills and eight digs in a five set defeat to the Marauders. For the season, the fourth year physical and health education major now ranks sixth in the OUA in kills with 92.
