DRIVE Mornings: Bell Let’s Talk Day
Bell “Let’s Talk” Day is to fight the stigma around mental illness. DRIVE Mornings with Reid and Jenn-O invite you to join the conversation about mental illness, building understanding and acceptance around this often silent and invisible illness.
Bell will donate 5 cents for every text message and long distance call made by Bell and Bell Aliant customers on Bell Let’s Talk Day. Bell is also encouraging Canadians to follow the campaign on Twitter at @Bell_LetsTalk and join in retweeting the Bell Let’s Talk Day message today. For each such retweet, Bell will donate an additional 5 cents.
Clara Hughes is the first and only Canadian to have won medals in both the Summer and Winter Olympics. She has two bronze medals for cycling, and a gold, silver, and two bronze for speed skating. She is also the official spokesperson for Bell “Let’s Talk” Day and she joined us this morning.
DRIVE Mornings with Reid and Jenn-O also decided to take adavantage of this easy fundraiser by catching up with family and friends and making a few long distance calls.
Reid’s Uncle Lloyd from England
Jenn-O’s Aunt Ingrid from Poland
Finally, we also received a couple of “mystery” text to voice messages in the 98.9 THE DRIVE studio.

Well done, Reid and Jenn-O! Loved it… I’ve sent quite a few texts today already and many more to come. Great cause!
