Kurt and Courtney’s Daughter to Make Singing Debut, Jack White To Stick With Dead Weather and Oasis Attacker to Be Sentenced Today…
Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean is to make her singing debut on a track also featuring My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, Andrew WK and Weird Al Yankovic.
Seventeen-year-old Cobain sings on ‘My Space’, which will appear on the debut album by Evelyn Evelyn, who are made up of Dresden Dolls frontwoman Amanda Palmer and Seattle musician Jason Webley.
Other acts on the track include Tegan And Sara.
The album ‘Evelyn Evelyn’ is due to be released on March 30.
The Dead Weather will hit the road for a 13-date U.S. tour beginning on April 15th in San Francisco. Jack White’s other other band will make appearances at the Coachella Festival and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as part of the trek, which ends on May 2nd.
White also said in an interview with Australia’s Triple J Radio that the Dead Weather’s second album is nearly finished and should be released in April. White revealed that he sings lead vocals on the first single, “Blue Blood Blues,” adding that the album is “bluesier and heavier than we ever thought we could be.”
The Toronto-area man who shoved British rock star Noel Gallagher into a bank of amplifiers faces the music today.
Danny Sullivan is to be sentenced for assault causing bodily harm for rushing the stage at Oasis’ Virgin Festival performance on the Toronto Island in 2008.
In a video shown around the world, an intoxicated Sullivan is seen running across the stage and violently pushing Gallagher from behind.
Oasis cancelled the rest of its tour and a subsequent C-T Scan showed Gallagher had three broken ribs.
