Whether Billy Corgan is dating Jessica Simpson is anyone’s guess, but he will acknowledge he wrote the theme song for her upcoming T-V show.
Corgan tells the Chicago Tribune he wrote a poppy song with an alternative edge for Simpson’s V-H-1 show, “The Price of Beauty.”
Corgan says he’s also just signed a deal to write his memoir, which he describes as being from a spiritual perspective — not from a media or celebrity perspective.

The Cleveland-based Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced who will do the presenting of the latest inductees March 15th in New York.
Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio is inducting rock group Genesis, while Wyclef Jean will honour Jimmy Cliff, and the Bee Gees’ Barry and Robin Gibb will induct ABBA.
Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong will honour The Stooges, while Jackson Browne will induct David Geffen.

Vampire Weekend, The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas and Beck are among the acts who are set to feature on an upcoming Haiti benefit album.
Called ‘Hear To Help’, the collaboration between Filter Magazine and American Eagle, will raise money for Oxfam America’s Haitian relief effort.
Including songs by Keane, Air, the compilation also features Of Montreal’s live version of Franz Ferdinands ‘Take Me Out’
Being sold through American Eagle stores in North America for $10, an online version of the album will be released tomorrow.
