TPC Singer/bassist Dave Monks has spent the last couple of days blogging about some of the tunes on the LP, which was recorded in California with producer Rob Schnapf, who’s worked with the likes of Elliott Smith and Beck.

In addition to the live footage, a book chronicling the venue’s history, Max’s Kansas City: Art, Glamour, and Rock ‘n Roll, will be released, and a documentary featuring interviews by Max’s patrons like Lou Reed and Alice Cooper is on the way.
