Last week I had the chance to chat over the phone with Shannon Leto the drummer from 30 Seconds To Mars.  Ok, I know he is not the more famous sibling, Jared, but I think he was busy shooting a movie.  Anyway he was pretty cool, talking frankly about their new CD “This Is War”, their $30 million lawsuit with Virgin, Jared’s bomb scare, and the positives and negatives in having a movie star brother in your band.  Have a listen.

30 Seconds To Mars have revealed details of their forthcoming album.

The follow-up to 2005′s ‘A Beautiful Life’ is set to be released in the US this autumn. This marks the band’s return to EMI Music’s Virgin Records label, with whom they’ve been involved in legal disputes for the past several months. (more…)
