Muse have added the drum kit they used for live tours from 2006-2008 to the auction to raise money for the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake.

Florence And The Machine, Foals, Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys and PJ Harvey had slready donated items for the auction, being organised by Oxfam. (more…)

Muse have announced plans to make a Nirvana inspired tour documentary.

Linkin Park, Alanis Morissette and the Dave Matthews Band are among the artists donating unreleased music to help victims of the Haiti earthquake.

They have created “Download To Donate For Haiti,” a collection of songs to raise money for Linkin Park’s charity, Music For Relief, as well as Dave Matthews BAMA, Habitat for Humanity and the U-N Foundation’s Central Emergency Response Fund. (more…)

Paramore’s opening date on their North American jaunt in support of the recently released Brand New Eyeswas going really well last Wednesday… until frontwoman Hayley Williams lost her voice.

The band were forced to postpone a gig in Los Angeles the next day, and have since pushed back a string of other shows because Williams has laryngitis and wants time to recover. (more…)

Muse drummer Dominic Howard has said that the band would be up for recording the theme song to a forthcoming James Bond film.

Howard told BBC News that he was confident that the trio could tackle the task and has suggested that the Devon band’s tendency towards the epic would suit such a film. (more…)
