Muse have announced plans to make a Nirvana inspired tour documentary.

Happy Birthday Sub Pop

Sub Pop Records – the label that brought you Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Eric’s Trip and more recently The Shins, The Postal Service and Flight of the Conchords – is turning twenty years old this summer, which officially makes me feel old.

They are celebrating with a festival – and an extensive interview with the founders of the label over at Pitchfork. The interview could use an editor’s touch, but if you scroll down to the sections on the unexpected success of ‘Nevermind’ and the “dark period” that followed, there’s a few juicy tidbits.
