KINGSTON RADIO CAME TOGETHER FORE A CURE

The day was so fun, the golfers chipped in more money to raise the total to $25,000!!!  It will be going to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre at KGH and Palliative Care at Providence Care's St. Mary's of the Lake.

98.9 THE DRIVE, FM96 and K-Rock 105.7 teamed up with YouBidLocal to help battle cancer.

Congratulations to all the winning bidders, getting the opportunity of a lifetime: To golf on one of Canada’s Premiere Private Courses in the Thousand Islands with Rock Stars and Canadian Icons including

• Members of the Tragically Hip

• Jayna Hefford and Members of Canada’s Olympic Gold Medal Hockey Team

• And more – including a special guest appearance by Don Cherry

They were chauffeured in a private limousine (provided by McCoy-Tower Limousine Services),catered to all day with gourmet meals, including dinner by a famous chef!  Then to wrap up the day, everyone sat around the campfire with an acoustic performance by members of The Tragically Hip.
